Online consultation package for ART programs with transportation of biological material
“FertilityNavigator is a unique package of services offered by IVMED. Patients can receive consultations from the head of the ART program coordination department, a logistics department specialist, and a lawyer and, if necessary, order the organization of biological material transportation services.
The IVMED clinic unites all cities of Ukraine and international clinics, transports biological material from different parts of the world to the IVMED reproductive medicine clinic, making infertility treatment more comfortable and affordable.
What is included in the Fertility Navigator package ?

Patients can change clinics and transfer their own embryos, eggs or sperm by consulting with the clinic’s specialists about the transportation of biological material, the legal peculiarities of the process and the preparation of relevant documentation, receiving comprehensive information about the details of transportation, as well as discussing available treatment programs with the head of the ART program coordination department.
The transportation of sensitive biological material will be carried out in compliance with the requirements of extremely low temperatures (up to -196 ℃) in a specially designed container for transportation – “Dry Shipper”.

Consultation with the head of the Assisted Reproductive Technology Programs Department is a very important stage at which patients get acquainted with a specialist who will coordinate the process of infertility treatment and planning of ART programs and provide information on the list and content of treatment programs at the IVMED Reproductive Medicine Clinic.
The initial consultation includes:
- Finding out the needs of patients. Familiarization with the clinic's treatment programs, the list of services and their cost.
- Providing recommendations on organizing consultations with related specialists, the cost of providing services on request.
- Informing about the possibility of contacting partner clinics in Ukraine or abroad to examine men, obtain biomaterial (sperm) with subsequent cryopreservation and transportation. Involvement of specialists for support, organization and translation of documentation upon request.
- Planning the next stages of counseling after identifying patients' interest.

Consultation on transportation services with a specialist is necessary to find out the possibilities of organizing safe, filled with the necessary supporting documentation and timely transportation of biological material (sperm, eggs or embryos) from one clinic to another, within the country or abroad.
How the consultation goes:
- Discuss the type of material (embryos, eggs, sperm, ovarian tissue).
- Finding out the clinic and country of origin, contact information, export/import permits, and the specifics of international transportation.
- Determination of the desired transportation time.
- Informing about the paperwork: authorization, informed consent, contract between clinics, cover letter, etc.

How does the transportation go?
Vitrified (frozen) embryos, oocytes or sperm are transported in “Dry Shipper” containers designed for transportation at ultra-low temperatures.
The container contains an absorbent that absorbs liquid nitrogen, maintaining temperatures down to -196 ℃.
