“FertilityNavigator is a unique package of services offered by IVMED. Patients can get a consultation from a specialist in the logistics department and, if necessary, order the organization of biological material transportation services.

What is included in the package?
"FertilityNavigator is a consulting package for ART programs involving the transportation of biological material, which consists of three components:
Initial consultation with the head of the department for coordination of assisted reproductive technologies programs (offline/online)
Consultation of an obstetrician-gynecologist, reproductive specialist (offline/online)
Initial consultation on transportation services (offline/online).
Advantages of "FertilityNavigator"
The transportation of sensitive biological material will be carried out in compliance with the requirements of extremely low temperatures (from -190 ℃) in a specially designed container for transportation - "Dry Shipper".
Patients can change clinics and transfer their own embryos, eggs or sperm by consulting with a specialist in the ART Program Coordination Department, receiving comprehensive information about available treatment programs and consulting a reproductive specialist to determine an individual plan and continue the previously started treatment.

Initial consultation with the head of the ART program coordination department
Consultation with the head of the Assisted Reproductive Technology Programs Department is a very important stage at which patients get acquainted with a specialist who will coordinate the process of infertility treatment and planning of ART programs, as well as provide information on the list and content of treatment programs at the IVMED Reproductive Medicine Clinic.
The initial consultation includes:
- Finding out the needs of patients. Familiarization with the clinic's treatment programs, the list of services and their cost.
- Discussion of legal, logistics and financial aspects. Providing recommendations for consultations of related specialists, estimated cost of logistics services.
- Informing about the possibility of contacting partner clinics in Ukraine or abroad to examine men, obtain biomaterial (sperm) with subsequent cryopreservation and transportation. Involvement of specialists for support, organization and translation of documentation upon request.
- Planning the next stages of counseling after identifying patients' interest.
Consultation with a reproductive specialist
The consultation has a personalized medical focus and is conducted after an initial consultation with the head of the ART program coordination department.
How the consultation goes:
- Anamnesis: results of previous examinations, reproductive history, background diseases.
- Assessment of previous ART attempts: protocols, response to stimulation, quality of eggs, embryos, number of embryo transfers.
- Determination of a treatment plan, diagnosis and involvement of specialists (endocrinologist, urologist, geneticist).
- Discussion of transportation of embryos, eggs, sperm (if necessary). Clarification of cryopreservation conditions, availability of PGT.
- List of tests to start treatment (for example, before IVF).
- Choosing a treatment strategy (endometrial preparation tactics, synchronization with the date of embryo thawing, etc.)
Recommendation:
Before consulting a reproductive specialist, it is advisable to provide:
- Conclusions from the previous doctor
- Analyzes
- ULTRASOUND
- Other medical documentation related to the last stage of treatment.
Initial consultation on transportation services
Consultation with a specialist of the logistics department is necessary to find out the possibilities of safe, legally correct and timely transportation of biomaterial (sperm, eggs, embryos) within the country or from abroad.
How to consult with a logistician:
- Discuss the type of material (embryos, eggs, sperm, ovarian tissue).
- Finding out the clinic and country of origin, contact information, export/import permits, and the specifics of international transportation.
- Determination of the desired transportation time.
- Informing about the paperwork: authorization, informed consent, contract between clinics, cover letter, etc.
- Discussion of technical details: capacity, temperature, monitoring during transportation.
How does the transportation go?
Vitrified (frozen) embryos, oocytes or sperm are transported in "Dry Shipper" containers designed for transportation at ultra-low temperatures.
The container contains an absorbent that absorbs liquid nitrogen, maintaining a temperature of -190 ℃.
