Topic: Influence of the quality of sperm selected using artificial intelligence on fertilization and blastocyst formation.
Content of the work: In the groups of patients with normo- and oligoastheno-teratozoospermia, such indicators as sperm concentration, progressive motility, and morphology were analyzed. The study showed that in oligoasthenoteratozoospermia, the use of artificial intelligence in the process of fertilization with native sperm provides a higher frequency of blastocyst formation compared to the use of cryopreserved sperm. It has been established that the percentage of blastocysts formed does not depend on the quantitative parameters of the spermogram when manually selecting sperm by an embryologist for ICSI, except for severe forms of teratozoospermia and genetic abnormalities. However, the use of the SID program in patients with oligoastheno-teratozoospermia contributed to an increase in the frequency of blastulation compared to the normozoospermia group.
