Cryostorage of IVMED clinic
Cryopreservation (Vitrification)
The term is composed of two Latin words: vitrum, meaning glass, and facio, meaning to transform. In cryobiology, the word “vitrification” is used to refer to the rapid freezing of various living objects, including eggs.
Unlike the slow freezing method, vitrification does not form ice crystals, so the natural structure of the material is fully preserved.
